Grades 6-12 core subject area teacherswill learn how to integrate successful writing, inquiry, collaboration and reading strategies into their curriculums to increase achievement for ALL students. New AVID Administrators learn how to support their existing AVID Programs and how AVID supports other district and site efforts.
Workshops Offered Plus Special Session Critical Reading I, English-Language Arts, English Language Learners, History/Social Studies, Mathematics, Science (for teachers who have been unable to attend an AVID summer institute) and a special session for administrators new to AVID.

$350.00 per individual This is the price for the conference, there might be additional fees for individual sessions. AVID does not accept Purchase Orders. Therefore, if you have not already submitted payment, your payment will be due by the first day of the workshop. Therefore, please use your email “pending confirmation” as an invoice. You must attach either a copy of your “pending email confirmation” to the check or note "Event #1112-47-0045" on the check. If your finance office is submitting payment, please be sure to forward your “pending confirmation email” to the appropriate department within your district.
