Paraeducator Exam, January 12, 2009

The Instructional Aide Assessment will be comprised of 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions will be divided into the following three areas: 20 questions – Ability to Assist in Instruction 40 questions – English/Language Arts & 40 questions – Mathematics. The test has been developed into three subsections with the ability to re-test in one or more sections at a time. Passing score is 70% for each section.

Dealing With Difficult Relationships

Dealing with Difficult Relationships is a great class being offered to all Special Education Paraeducators. The class will include practical instruction on elements of a healthy relationship and some simple tips to help you in dealing with difficult personalities. You will learn why personality conflicts happen and techniques you can implement to repair relationships. Helpful information in interacting with individuals in the workplace as well as in your personal life will be covered. Our facilitator Linda Murphy, is a well informed and highly energetic individual. Don’t miss this class!

CPR

CPR classes will be held on a scheduled minimum day. CPR certifications are valid for 2 years and it is your responsibility to keep your certification current. Classes will be held at Eagle Medical Services. All classes begin promptly at 1:30. You may print a map to Eagle Medical when registering.
